My Beaded Bracelets

I’ve been making handmade jewelry for at least 15 years, with silver, stone, glass and beads.  My resolution in 2015 was to learn how to make beaded jewelry with a needle and thread and very small beads.

So in January 2015 I asked my friend Jackie to teach me how to Bead, Jackie is an expert Beader. Using the Peyote stitch she helped me create so many beautiful bracelets.  After removing a lot of knots and many mistakes I feel beading is beautiful way to make necklaces, bracelets and rings.  I learned how to make beaded bracelets some with ruffles some plain and even some they call”bumps in the road”.

 Although I am still a novice, and still don’t know how to add a clasp.  I feel very pleased with myself.  Look for my beaded (finished) bracelets and much more in November 2015 at btcarlo@etsy.com  Thank you to all my loyal admires and customers.

Turquoise and Copper Bracelet

Here it is the end of March 2015   

I've been busy.  I manage two blog spots. I am also president of our lapidary club at Westbrook Village in Peoria Arizona.  This also includes two meeting a month for the club.  I've taken classes on how to work with Stone, Sterling Silver Clay, Beading and Wire Work.  I design and make all of my own jewelry and I love every minute of it.  I still do a lot with stringing and have been working on different designs and color.  I hope to post some of my art/jewelry work soon.
